Wood Carving

In the summer of 2022 I wanted to get into wood carving and made these few reliefs. They were carved on basswood plates using a carving knife and a few different chisels. These are my first (and currently only) attempts at this craft, excluding some messy practice cuts I did at the start. I enjoyed that a lot, and maybe I'll try it again at some point, but I guess there's only so many hobbies you can obsess over at the same time! My main focus is drawing. The designs themselves aren't mine, two are Nordic and the other two royalty free samples I found online.
